Read along books help children recognise words and make reading fun!

While listening to audiobooks children can follow the words on the pages and image them coming alive, visualising all the fun places and characters. This is helped by the narrators using dramatic or silly voices which captures the children’s imagination.

Audiobooks also give children an important introduction to developing their listening skills they will start to recognise speech patterns and rhythms.

Set the tone of the classroom

Designated songs or tunes that are repeated will structure the classroom and help give your students a daily routine.

  • Start the day with a bright lively piece of music and an activity to get all the students ready for the day ahead.

  • Use peaceful tunes to calm the class when needed or as a backdrop to block out distracting ambient sounds.

  • End the day with a fun tune to pack up and say goodbye.

"I contacted Coomber today needing advice on a music system our school had purchased. I spoke with a lovely lady who was extremely helpful with my query. The first-class customer service is always received from Coomber. School has purchased from them many times over the years and will continue to do so. I would highly recommend their products and services" Tanya Mills,Wootey Infant School
